Did You Know?
The AICPA has a very informative web site; startheregoplaces.com
Speakers Bureau
Through the CPAs in the Classroom program, students can learn about accounting careers from a CPA in your area.
This year, we are continuing the program in which Oregon high school and community college students have a chance to hear first hand from practicing CPAs about the accounting profession. In the past, the program has been a great success! Our speakers enjoy presenting students to first-hand accounting information, and teachers receive useful classroom materials.
The OSCPA will provide classroom speakers with the following:
- DVD exploring different careers in accounting
- Student handouts
- Fun student giveaways
The OSCPA currently has CPAs available and ready to speak at your school in classroom presentations, career fairs, and/or awards nights. Receive career information at no charge to use in your classroom even if you don't need a speaker.
