Who Can Join?

CPAs and Exam Passers: Any person who is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed under the laws of any state. Also, persons who have passed the uniform examination for certified public accountants, but have not yet received their CPA certificate may join under certain, specific conditions.

Candidates: Effective January 1, 2007, CPA Candidates are eligible for OSCPA membership. Membership open to college graduates who are pursuing successful completion of the Uniform CPA Examination, within five years of graduation. Candidate members shall annually affirm eligibility.

Students: Any person who is not eligible for CPA Candidate, Associate, Active or Inactive Member status and who is a part-time or full-time student with an emphasis in accounting or related business field at a college or university, may apply for student membership.
